We are proudly renowned for our complete range of processing and machining capabilities. With our top-of-the-range, in-house processing equipment, Steel Dynamics supplies some of the most demanding high integrity applications on the planet.

Processing Equipment

The latest in-house value added processes, a broad array of products and our committed workforce enable us to deliver some of the quickest lead times the industry has to offer with over 95% of orders fulfilled on time in full.

We are home to the UK’s largest 14M x 4M waterjet cutting machine and can carry out waterjet cutting on Stainless Steel grades up to 200mm in thickness. Our other processing equipment include laserjet machines, hi-def plasma with an oxy fuel plate, CNC machining, CNC cutting, folding, testing, and more.

Total Service Concept

At Steel Dynamics, we believe in building long-standing relationships with all our customers, so we’ve developed our sustainable TSC aimed at taking the stress away by fully managing our customers’ metal requirements - from material procurement right through to delivery.


Our concept makes us perfectly positioned to support customers with a world-class approach that includes several value-added processes suited to both project-based work and more complex and challenging applications. TSC is applicable to all customers from all market sectors, with no additional costs.

Steel Dynamics has been at the forefront of the nuclear sector, supplying critical stainless and carbon steel materials to power plants and nuclear applications.

Delivery Services

Steel Dynamics are leading the way in metals industry logistics by offering a number of different delivery solutions so that customers have the flexibility to select the option that best suits their business needs.

 

We operate and maintain our own private fleet of 12 delivery vehicles covering the UK, and over the last year, our new 100,000 sq.ft. warehouse and distribution centre became fully operational, serviced by 4 cranes and modern handling equipment. This has provided an increase in our stock holding capacity to better service the needs of our existing and new customers.

With over 5,000 tonnes of Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex and Nickel Alloys in stock from European origin, a broader offering of added-value processing, finishing and inspection than any other service centre in Europe, and our own fleet of delivery vehicles, we’re well-positioned to service our customers wherever they are.
