The KastoBloc U5 Plate Saw
The KastoBloc U5 is a state-of-the-art plate saw designed for cutting large stainless steel sheets and plates with high precision and speed. It's a horizontal band saw that excels in delivering consistent results on thick materials.
Sawing is a clean mechanical cut with no heat-affected zone, minimal kerf loss, and a cost per part below any profile cutting method. For a rectangular block where the outer profile doesn't need laser precision, the saw is the shortest route from plate to finished piece. It is also a strong choice for repeat jobs and bulk cutting where you want dependable accuracy without paying for a process you do not need.

Where sawn blocks earn their place
Forging preforms and billets - clean, square starting stock for downstream forge or machining operations

With stainless plate held on site, blocks move directly from stock to sawing within our stainless-only production facility. That reduces handling, shortens lead times, and keeps material identification and certification controlled throughout.
Where further processing is needed, laser, plasma, waterjet cutting, CNC machining and bevelling are all available at the same site under the same quality system.
